Anglesey's Smart Island Strategy

Anglesey Smart Island is a Community Renewal Fund project which aims to build on the previous work of Menter Môn, such as the Year of Smart Towns initiative, to investigate how best to utilise smart technologies to facilitate an improvement in the rural environment on the island of Anglesey and tackle key problems faced by local communities.

The Anglesey Smart Island project aims to build on a range of existing smart place technology projects and pilots already present on the island and focuses on six key themes:

·Economy
·Community, culture and heritage
·Environment
·Transport
