Example High Street Business Action Plan
If you're part of a business group, a member of the Smart Towns Team will usually start with a short introduction to the Smart Towns programme, followed by a presentation tailored to your high street. This session highlights key data trends and explores important events in your town. We’ll look at how footfall has changed over time, how long visitors stay, and even the types of people visiting your town - including where they travel from, as well as their age, gender, and income profiles.
After the presentation, you’ll have a 1:1 consultation. This is your chance to ask specific questions, explore particular metrics in more detail, or discuss your business goals and how data can support them. If you're not part of a business group, we may still be able to offer you an online consultation, depending on team availability. In this case, we’ll send you a background document explaining the different metrics and how they’re measured, so that we can use the consultation time to focus on the data that matters most to your business.
In both cases, following the consultation you will receive a personalised report and Action Plan including screenshots of the data and an overview of the discussion, along with specifically tailored suggestions on how your business can act on the data shared. Here is an Example Business Action Plan shared with a business. Want to find out how hjigh street data can support your business? Register for a free consultation now!
